We had the chance to briefly meet up with Johnny Cupcakes after his presentation at the HOWLive design conference in San Francisco yesterday. He's an awesome guy and one of our inspirations behind launching NearJenius back in '09. We exchanged biz cards, took a quick pick and mentioned a possible collab in the future. Best part was he said he recognized our logo!

Lebron James "Kings & Zombies" tshirt design progression

Hey guys, we thought it would be cool to show the artwork progress through stages on the Kings & Zombies tshirt design. After we developed the concept, Reid collaborated with friend, and world-famous illustration artist, Mark Riddick (Mark Riddick (RIDDICKART); www.riddickart.com) to give this shirt the look it needed, and Mark definitely didn't disappoint. Mark illustrated Lebron as a zombie, Reid did the type work, and Mark tied it all together with his technique, and Reid threw some Miami vice colors in the background to give it the right vibe.
